Is there a simple report that give me a list of cheques in a cheque run with the total at the bottom? I tried "Cheque Detail" with just today's date, but the "totals" are just for each cheque. I need a total for the entire run.
Open a check, click Find icon, choose a date range, click find, click report.
Open a Trial Balance, then double click on your bank account GL. Choose your date. If you don't want the deposits, modify the report to show only cheques & bill payments.
You could choose 'today' as your date & add it to your icon bar for next time.

Go to Reports on the Top Menu Bar
Choose Banking > Missing cheque Report > choose Bank Account > Modify Date Range.
This is what I love about Quickbooks.
There are many options to get the same information!
For the record, the "Missing Cheque Report" doesn't solve problem since that report does not give a total for all the cheques run that day, which is the specific information I need.
