3 million $$ difference in checkbook reconciliation. Very small company. In business for 1 yr. Reconciliation balanced until I restored the accountant's copy. He had made no changes. Should be 30K in the account. Largest deposit 10K. Largest check 3K.
Is your beginning balance off? Then run the reconciliation discrepancy report to find out what has changed since you last reconciled.
If the beginning balance is correct, then you will need to check your deposits to see why the balance is off so much. Sounds like someone entered one too many zero's in an entry.
