check register
is there a way to clean out the check register? Numbers do not match at all to what I have and shows in the red.

You really need to do your bank recon. By doing that you will be able to check off the transactions and deposit that are correct. Then you be able to see what transacitons and deposit shouldn't been there becasue of checks that didn't or voided that you forgot to do and deposit made in error... When you finish your last bank recon print out the reports are the end. They will tell you which transactions haven't cleared. That info will allow you to go back and void them out...
PS. you can match up check with the right number on the fly... when doing the banck recon, you highlight the transaction you know the number is wrong then click the GOTO button. this will bring up the tranasction. change the number and then close, and you will be right back in Recon mode..
