Chart of Accounts-Expenses separated on P&L
I am doing the P&L for a condominium association. Is there any way expenses can be separated in the Chart of Accounts btwn Direct Bldg Exps & Common Bldg Exps so each has it's own subtotal on the P&L?

You could create main accounts for Common Bldg Exps and Direct Bldg Exps, then create the detail accounts you want as sub-accounts underneath. A total would display for each main account.
