Chart of Account error

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows : 2012

I have asked this before but didn't get an acceptable answer.

I am just starting to use the product and need to make sure it works for what I want to do before I commit to it.

I have a Word doc that I would like to upload if possible that demonstrates the issue but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that.

Also, the link and image buttons don't work. They freeze the window and I have to close and redo the message.
