Charitable mileage deduction for church volunteers
Is the $0.14 per mile deduction available for individuals who volunteer at a church service. The fact pattern would be for those individuals who serve in both services (rather than serving in one and attending the other), such as actors, musicians, technicians, etc. Also, I would assume that the travel to/from the church campus for practices would also be deductible.
