I need to change my accounting from an accrual basis to a cash basis. I know that I go to File>Preferences and the dialog box gives me the option to change how my customers pay me, if I want to create estimates, if I charge sales tax, and when do I owe sales tax. But there should also be an option for generating reports on a cash or accrual basis, and this option does not appear. How then do I change to a cash basis? Thanks for your help.

Hi Kylie,
During our financial year we have changed from accrual to cash basis. It was easy to change the preferences and the graphs/reports but it has changed all the previously returned/filed purchases & sales to the new accounting basis. Would you have any advices on how to track the change over?
