Changing an Edition
US QuickBooks Premier : 2011: Accountant
I started a compay in QB Premier Account, then realized it should be Contractors edition. How can I change this?

Under the File menu, look for Toggle to Another Edition. (This is a cool feature only in the Accountant version.) But you have to do this each time. The good news is, you can switch back & forth.
For a permanent solution, back up your company file then uninstall QuickBooks and re-install it as Contractor edition. You'll have to re-register.
