Change of company status
QuickBooks UKWhen moving from being a sole trader to being a limited company, do I need a new QuickBooks company file? If so, can the data be copied over from my existing company file, or do I need to start from scratch?

The simple answer to your question is Yes. You will need a new company file. The reason is that your sole trader business is a completely separate legal entity to the limited company. You will need to start the limited company file from scratch, therefore.
