CD Drive
How do I point to the CD drive for other state returns? Lacerte help tells me to go to the Tools menu and change the drive, but it isn't an option on the Tools menu>

You have choices. If you have the latest release Lacerte CD, put it into the CD drive and note what CD drive the computer calls that drive. When you have added the state in the client information screen and then perform a step in the Lacerte program that requires that state's information, Lacerte will send a message that says you have not loaded that state's program yet. That screen gives you a choice of adding the state 1) from a CD or 2) from the website. If you choose the CD option, click the OK button. The next screen that appears will ask you what CD drive the Lacerte CD is in. Enter the correct letter (or browse) to find the Lacerte tax CD. Choose that letter and hit enter. The program should then load from the CD.
If you do not have the latest Lacerte release CD available but have access to the internet, select the option to load the program from the web. (The web option is better because you should receive the latest version of that state's program even if it has not actually been sent out in CD form yet.)

Chuck is correct - there is no "run from CD" option anymore. You load the necessary states either in advance or "on the fly" as he pointed out.
