Thank you for signing up for credit card processing. We do send card readers, free of charge, for every GoPayment account that is opened. These card readers are going to attach to your mobile phone. We do offer a card reader that attaches through a USB port to your computer and they are available to purchase. You can talk to our Sales team or visit payments.intuit.com for card reader options

I have a Windows 7 phone and a card reader that was sent to me, I tried it for the first time a couple of days ago and again today it doesnt work. I plugged it in and ran the gopayment app on my phone, however the app doesnt seem to know that there is a card reader attached to the phone.
Can you help me with this please?

At this time the Windows phone is not compatible with the GoPayment card reader. I apologize for any frustration this may have caused you. You will still be able to use the GoPayment app on your phone though. You can hand key in the transactions in the app or by using the web version of the app at gopayment.intuit.com.
If you would like to see a complete list of the compatible phones, you can view that at gopayment.com and clicking "See all devices".
If you decide to buy the USB card reader, you can log into the Merchant Service Center @ merchantcenter.intuit.com and process a swiped card in there, and receive the card swiped rate, which is better than a key entered rate.

Will you be processing through QuickBooks, or only by GoPayment? I should have asked this first, made the mistake of reading the thread first :)
