What happens when you File > Switch to Multi-User mode ?

Click, File, go to Utilities and check to see if it says "hosting multiuser mode" or if it says "stop hosting multiuser access"
You should see "stop hosting multiuser access" in order to open the file from any computer. However this has always been a bit goofy.. Sometimes we have to open the file first on our server or on a different machine in order for the others to access the file in a multi-user format despite the fact they all say "stop hosting multiuser access"
According to QB help each machine should be listed as "stop hosting multiuser access" in order to open the file from any machine first.
