Hello, I have a similar problem as your and it seems like no one have an answer or are willing to assist, based on the answers or comments I have seen so far.

I reloaded the software, in my case Pro 2008 and the problem persist. The operating system is Vista Ultimate and office 2007. So I guess the problem is being experienced with other versions of softwares.

Not sure what other solution you have tried , When I rename qbword.dot, the template window is not diaplayed, so part of QB must be seeing the first stages of the access sequence. I reckon the problem occurs at some stage after the templates are displayed on the screen to QB calling up the specific template to use.

I'm hoping to reload word to see if it helps, iwhen I can find the master CD. Will share the results. My exact message is a Yellow triangle warning with ' Quickbooks could not load Word template qbword.dot'.

Perhaps it would be good to know what cause the problem to occur but most importantly how to cure it.

Should I find any other useful information will post it here.

Shocky

I am having the same problem. Cannot load qdword.dot.   I was using it right along and now I can no longer use it.  Hope someone can come up with an answer soon.  I have the 2008 Version.
