I need to update my Quickbooks 2009 server to R14. But when I try to download the full version of QB 2009, I get R13. It's like the R14 version of 2009 has not be posted for download yet. Been trying for the past 3 weeks.
If you are using HELP to download R14, after the download, you need to close Qb's and then reopen. At that point you should get a message asking you if you want to do the update - say yes.
If you download the update and simply hit your F2 key - it will still show R13. Only if you close Qb's and then reopen will QB's ask if you want to install the R14 update.

I am not trying to update a Quickbooks 2009 CLIENT installation. I am trying to update a server that does not have the QB Client software installed. The only thing installed on the server is Quickbooks Server 2009. According to QB's support site, in order to update QB Server 2009 to R14, I have to download the entire QB 2009 R14 product (NOT just the qbwebpatch.exe file). Once I get the R14 version of QB 2009 downloaded, I have to uninstall the current version of QB 2009 Server, then reinstall from scratch the R14 version. The problem is, any time I try to download the full version of QB 2009, I get the R13 version - not the R14 version. It does not appear the R14 version of QB 2009 is out there for download anywhwere.
Has anyone else ran into this?
