Can you transfer clients to a new Lacerte Account?
Lacerte : 2010When I tried to renew online this year, for whatever reason, even though I renewed through My Account, Lacerte assigned me a new account number. I have made multiple calls (frustrating) to customer service, but they don't seem able to resolve this. I am wondering if I should just keep the new number. The big issue is whether I can transfer my existing clients to the new number. Has anyone sucessfully transferred clients from one Lacerte account to another? And will I have a problem using my existing EFIN and PTIN with a new account?
