Can you create reminder pop-ups for customers when you are creating an invoice for them?

I know its an option to have a pop-up appear afer you type the customer job on an invoice- to show available sales orders and billable costs that customer has. I am wondering if there is a way to create an automatic 'reminder' pop-up when you invoice a customer who has special billing requests or outstanding balances.
