is the only way for me to be able to create custom budget vs actual P&L statements is to have intuit statement writer?
No, under the title Company scroll down to planning , arrow points to the right that show s you budget and projections. Use those tools. Of course you have to imput the data.
Actually, what I was referring to was creating custom statements (financials.) I want to give them our own custom look.
I often export mine to Excel and customize them there.

We just upgraded this week. So, I haven't got to play around yet. But, from what I can tell, it looks like we might need the stmt writer add on. Otherwise, I would probably have to make sure that the account structure is numbered so that the accounts are at least in order so that very little formatting would need to be done if I exported. My goal is to be able to just "run" a report at month-end & avoid a lot of formatting. I appreciate any input. Thanks!

I've been told it won't work if I'm working remotely and dialing in thru a vpn. Is anyone working remotely and using it. I would just like another opinion or know if there are any other options as I work remotely, for my client on a full-time basis and this is one of the main reasons we upgraded to Enterprise Solutions. Thanks for any advice!
