Can Quicbooks 2012 automatically email using Windows Live Mail?
QuickBooks UKI'm using Windows 7pro and Windows Live Mail. Quickbooks 2010 doesn't support this popular email package, I was wondering if this is a fix for the 2012 release?

thanks for your reply, I note that Windows LiveMail is not in the supported list in your reply. I was also told by Technical Support that it was a new feature of 2012. Please can you confirm.

i have checked with our technical department, and QuickBooks 2012 supports Windows Live Mail 2010 and 2011.
The FAQ Configure your email service with QuickBooks contains more detailed information about Windows Mail; Windows Live Mail and Windows Live Hotmail.

According to the link you posted, Quickbooks does not support Windows Live Mail. It only supports Windows Mail (the older version for Vista).
This is what it says in the link:
Windows Live Mail: Windows Live Mail is a program provided by Microsoft to send email and organize your Calendar and Contacts. While QuickBooks is not designed to email through Windows Live Mail, you can save Invoices, Reports Estimates, Purchase Orders and other forms as a .pdf file. Once saved as a .pdf file you can attach them to an email from any email software that supports attachments.

Quickbooks 2012 DOES support my version of Windows Live Mail Version 2009.
Used it yesterday for the first time - worked on the first attempt.
