Can Intuit not get control of this Forum?

QuickBooks Canada

Our US & British friends get & try to answer questions for the Canadian Forum. We also get & try to answer their questions. The tax structure & QB is different for all of us. It is a waste of time for anyone that wants to help. We like to keep in touch with our friends from other country's, but time is wasted.

Can Intuit not figure this out? We now have the "Intuit on Facebook" displaying who likes QB. WHO CARES?! Most of us like it or we would not continue. We just want to be able to help without having to ask everyone "Where they are from".

Intuit, please get a grip on this. Correct the Forum. Put up a huge Flag or something - that asks the poster " What country are you asking from" that will direct it to the correct Forum. I would hate to see this for myself - but if only a FLAG click - would be tolerable.

Something needs to be done.

SAY SOMETHING!!!

I just spent an hour trying to help. It is worse now, then it has ever been. I do not have much more time than that per week. All I read was posts in the wrong Forum - US, English, NZ. in the Canadian Forum.

I think it could be fixed - is it difficult?

Country Flags - ??? See above.

ERIC at Intuit - (my Buddy) are you still there? We need your help to push this forward.

We are currently investigating this issue. Thanks for pointing that out. Since our community is now one global site, we need to differentiate the regions, specifically for US, CA, and UK.

The real problem seems to be that the community is NOT "one global site". It appears that "website design wise" all the communities are just add-ons to the USA website. When you are in the Canadian Cummunity (for instance), and click on the "Leaderboard", you get the USA one (not the Canadian one) - and other links in the Canadian Forum similarly link to USA websites. This was mentioned over a year ago - that we are all, including the UK Community, etc. (web design wise) just an afterthought.

Not only should there be a manditory Country of the Questioner, but you should have to also enter the Version and Release number required before you can post a question!

also, part of the problem is the US quickbooks Pro. is the DEFAULT checked for product version in the profile section... There should not be a default there...

This forum has become - out of control!

Something must be done. It should be simple to separate!

We now get everything. US ,NZ, British, & God knows what! It should be easy to separate!

Put a Bomb under those programmers butts. They really have not done much for us Canadian guys since 2007.

Please hang tight there. We are working closely with our US counterpart on this on-going issue. Trust me, we all want to get this resolved ASAP!!!

I do not frequent the boards as much now as I am working on different projects, but I'll try my best to check back once in awhile to see how my fellow community members are doing.

I really appreciate it you posting back and helping other community members and giving us feedback. That is what the community is all about.

It is just comforting that you are still there! In this day of constant changes, I appreciate that someone from Intuit, like you, is still there after the 10 -15 years, that I have used QB. Many may not know you as I do. You have always answered me - I thank you.

I sure hope Intuit recognizes you - and you are "Vice President" in charge of something big. If not - tell your supervisiors to send me an e-mail with a survey on you! God knows we get enough general surveys!

The Forum has become a nightmare. I will hang tight as you suggested.

Gads! Can Intuit Forum guys not fiigure this out? I don't care if you say US or Canadian Forum guys. It should be so simple to separate. Put up Flags! Have we all lost this to the "20" twinkies:.The ones that protest - but cannot even manage their message!
