can cleared checks appear in numeric order on the reconcile screen?
checks to be cleared are out of numeric order on the reconcile order. Can the order be changed to numeric?

Were the checks entered in numerical order? If they were processed out of order that would be the reason they are out of numerical order. Reconcilation's go by the date the check was actually entered. I believe one of the new changes in QuickBooks 2009 is to be able to sort different ways in the reconciliation window..

I had a client with that problem awhile back and I believe that rebuilding the data corrected it. However, Brendajg is right, if they were entered out of sequence, they will remain out of order on the bank rec screen
