Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! During this time, you can shop, but can’t place orders online, activate products or update account info. We apologize for the inconvenience & thank you for patience while we improve our infrastructure to better serve you. International versions are unaffected. For more info, see our community discussion.

Can anyone recommend a good merchant service provider?

What merchant service provider would you recommend? I was going to sign up with Intuit but have read a lot of negative comments about it on the community forum. I've been in business for a while but am looking to add on pay-by-credit card option.

That is a very tough decision. I have been shopping for one for an extremely long time now.

Go to Chase Paymentech......JP Morgan Chase Bank is to my understanding the only bank that owns their own processing company.  We switched over from Wells Fargo due to the amounts that they take out of your account for fees and 3rd. Party Processing Fees.  Check into it.  Paymentech could save you lots of money in fees.
