I just migrated from desktop to Online and some of the features I've been using are not supported in Online.
E.g., no more Inactive flag. Replacement feature = delete (don't want to do that) or Create an "Inactive Customers" customer and move all my inactive folks to be subcustomers.
Is there a way to move a whole bunch of customers at once, or do I have to edit each and every customer individually?

Yes, QBOE is very different from the Desktop Editions. As far as batch editing of Customers, that request has been in since 2006 but so far, this request hasn't been fulfilled.
One of the neat function in QBOE is if you want to remove a customer from your list, just delete them! Yes, I said delete them. In QBOE, customers never really get deleted, just moved to an inactive area, out of sight. You can review them any time in the Customer Center by checking View Deleted. You can recall a deleted customer any time with their transactions. So you see, you don't need the "Inactive Flag" as in the Desktop Editions.
