Budget Report Issues
When entering the budget I assign a number to the account however when running my budget vs actual report it comes up as "the name of the account-other. instead of just the name. How can i fix this?

"other" means it was assigned to the header account when there are sub accounts.
You need to either assign those transactions (click on the balance) to sub accounts or create a sub account to assign them to

True however it is not a header account. For example, the header account is Marketing and the sub account is Magazines, which has the budgeted amount tagged to it. But when I run my report , budget vs. actual, all transactions that were entered under the sub account of magazines shows up under magazines-other including the budgeted figure. What is weird is that it is only showing an "other" on this account. Your feed back on this is greatly appreciated.

No it is active, I have figured it out. For some reason it was linked to another sub account under the same header account. Thank you for all your help.
