BOYCOTTING THE NEW PROADVISOR LOGOS!!!

I would like to take a poll on who out there actually likes the new logos. I do not. "Intuit" it too big and "QuickBooks"/"ProAdvisor" are way too small. We are QuickBooks ProAdvisors not Intuit ProAdvisors. Also, the new logos do not pop like the old ones. The yellow made them really stand out. QuickBooks needs to take the new logos back to the drawing board and stick with the original concept. Please reply whether you like the new logos or not. Thank you!

I agree. The only information that catches you eye is Intuit, everything is secondary and the color on the Enterprise logo is what is referred to as "baby poo" green.

I do not like the new logos at all. Very bland, does not pop, and customers do not care how many different logs we have. Looks like Intuit is sending their graphics over to India and they are getting what they pay for and we all have to suffer. Keep it in the USA!!!!

It doesn't do much for me, either. How many of our clients know QB as an Intuit product?? But maybe that's the point of having the Intuit name in your face & QuickBooks as an afterthought.

I like the new logos & think they look fresh and new -- not like a hamburger. But, I did like the red color of the advanced cert better than the shades of red in the new one. I like the POS and Enterprise being different colors to help differentiate them.

PLEASE mark this answer as solved (click the button under the answer in the lower, right corner) or post additional questions. Thanks so much!!!

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you are not happy with the new logos. We created the logo to match the new look and feel of the Intuit/QuickBoks brand, which puts more emphasis on the Intuit name. We also color-coded to give more pop and updated to give it a modern look. You are free to use the old logo for as long as you would like, but would suggest updating as you create new materials such as business cards.

I'm sorry, at the risk of giving the company ideas, these logos look like they belong to Certified Intuit ProAdvisors. Additionally, for us Advanced ProAdvisors, are we actually supposed to maintain the scale of the logos so that if we list one of our other certs (like Enterprise) on our cards they have different sizes and look rather unbalanced on our business cards?

I think Intuit really went looking for a solution to something that wasn't a problem to begin with.

I don't care for the new logos. the point of sale Pro Advisor Logo doesn't even have the word Quickbooks on it. Fortuneately, our firm has the previous logos on file for us to use on any printed materials,, so it isn't an issue for us. but Intuit does need to re-visit the decision to change their logos.

I saw the logos for the first time today and was not the least bit impressed or inspired.

Intuit is trying to have us bring out the Intuit brand, as they have their national campaign going at this time. I do not think most small business owners know who Intuit is so you can see where that is leading them to go with their campaign.

If I continue to have a choice I will not adopt the new logo but that will not last long.

I agree - I don't like the new logos. They don't look like certifications, they look like textbooks lined up in a library. I also didn't like the change from the previous QB gold and green to the Intuit blue. The idea in building a brand is consistency, and I don't see the benefit in these changes of late.

A logo is a logo...the only thing I am concerned is about the public recognizance of the new logo. I am waiting to see how the crossover will be marketed.

I am currently taking the certification program. I entered the program for various reasons, but initially I was attracted to it by the logo. The old logo provides a subtle way to inform my business audience of my QB certification without interfering with my marketing programs and objectives. The new logos have the appearance of "Intuit Product Branding" which is not what my business is about. QB is a great tool for the service I provide. However, it is not the only tool my customers use and I provide analysis and interpretation of business financial results no matter which computer accounting program they use. Unlike the the old purposeful logo, the new logo will never be seen on my business cards, letterhead or other marketing material.

I have just seen the new logo.

I feel they are a failure in discrete subjective display. For God sakes why dont we get a second one connected by two strapes so we can walk around the block hanging them over our shoulders.

Sincerely,

I,also do not care for the new logos. They lack pizzazz and have a very generic feel. I also don't care for the new baby blue intuit. I want my logo's, my "colors" and my overall impact to be strong, dynamic, high impact - not pastel and wimpy. There have been many studies regarding color and its impact, or its message it can convey. I think if nothing else, they're lacking in that regard.

Thank you for asking. Maybe they will continue to provide both logos (long-term) if enough express their dislike for the new ones.

I am a new Certified ProAdvisor and I too was attracted to Quickbooks Certification because of the yellow and black logos that popped that I saw in various places. I do not like the new logos and think the old logos were much better. Is there anywhereI can retrieve the old logos?

I completely agree with you!  We have said the exact same thing here in our office!!  I'm getting ready to do new brochures and just posted a question if I can still use the old yellow logo since I like it better!  I'm with you - stick with the original!!

I am updating my QuickBooks brochures & took the old logo off & put the new logo on to see how it looks.  When I showed my husband, he said it looked like a box of cough syrup!  We will stick with the original yellow & black that actually shows the word "QuickBooks" so you can see it!!

This is great feedback.  It isn't wasted, and it is being read.  Please keep it coming

A few things I will call out:

  • We are emphasizing Intuit more across the entire company.  As a result there are new logos for Intuit, QuickBooks, and of course Certification.  It's a good point that ProAdvisors make their money off QuickBooks support and help, not Intuit support and help, but as the new branding get's out there, it is our hope that your clients will be realizing that they are one in the same.
  • We also need to start consolidating all of our Certification programs into a more unified look and feel so as not to confuse customers.  Outside of ProAdvisors, our Intuit Solution Providers have 3 different certifications and our Intuit Developer's Network allows for certification.

I'm not saying it's perfect solution, but changing a companies logo is a common practice, and it will take a little time for the logo to feel natural.

One final caveat about using the old logo.  The power of Certification comes from the fact that it is endorsed by the maker of the software.  Using an outdated logo runs the risk that your client might see the new logos on our site, and not be clear that your certification is actually from Intuit.

Keep providing feedback.
