How often are the phone updates I have a blackeberry 9670 and I would love for my reader to work with my phone

The blackberry 9670 is not going to be added to the compatibility list at this time. Here was a post applying to all blackberry phones below.
We want to share some news with BlackBerry users about our future development plans. Due to trends in customer technology adoption we will not be modifying the GoPayment App to work with new BlackBerry devices and will not be adding additional enhancements for current BlackBerry devices. The BlackBerry devices we currently support will continue to work with GoPayment and we will continue to provide support for them but may cease to do so depending on the number of customers that continue to access the service through those devices. GoPayment customers using or upgrading to unsupported BlackBerry devices will be able to key enter transactions into the mobile or web browser versions of GoPayment at GoPayment.Intuit.com.
