We track time by employee and bill clients at an hourly rate. We can pull the date, time description etc. into an invoice, but not the name. What are we doing wrong?
There is nothing to pull in Name.
You can set up subitems, by name, and on the timesheet select the specific subitem for the service per the employee on the timesheet. Then, you can put the name in the Description, so it is not just the service, but the service and the name.
This has an advantage: now you also can link each employee's subitem to a subaccount of Income. Now you have some reporting options you may not have had, to see who bills out how much of the income.
