Best way to learn QB fast with no experience?
What's the best way to learn QB? I have no accounting or bookkeeping experience and need to learn fast!

Is this for your own business? I'd suggest you find a Certified ProAdvisor to set up the data file for you (to ensure that it is done properly) and train you how to enter transactions for your business. This ensures you get off on the right foot and would be fast and efficient. Someone can even help you remotely! This would allow you to focus on just what you need to know.
Otherwise, there are learning center tutorials in QuickBooks (Help>Learning Center), and a Certified User program online (search www.quickbooks.com for it).

There is no one "best way" to learn QuickBooks.
Check Real World Training @ http://www.realworldtraining.com/ for training resources.
You might find the following book helpful:
"QuickBooks 2009: The Official Guide" by Kathy Ivens.
You might try finding a book on basic accounting.

You could hire someone to work with you and train you, a one-on-one tutor. I teach an 18-hour course in the classroom but we offer contract (private) training, and if this was done one-on-one, you'd get an overview of accounting and the basics of QB in just three days. Check in your community.
If this answers your issue, please click on Solved and that will close your topic. Otherwise, let us know if you have more questions.
Thank you for the answers. I do not see a "solved" button anywhere on the screen to close this question.

I have a question:
Looking at another answer it says there are 2 guide books for Quickbooks.
1.QB Learnin Guide 2009 by Craig which is more like a student guide and another one QB 2009: The Official Guide by Ivens more like a instructor guide.
2. Which do you recommend?
3. Also I found a site for Free QuickBooks Manuals, It can be downloaded you will need Adobe. Is this a true site?
Can someone help?

Learning Guide by Craig is a student book, I teach using this book. It has a sample file and lessons in each chapter.
Kathy Iven's books are user reference manuals, not student or teacher books. There is How-to info for the user to refer to, as needed on the day-to-day job.
Which to recommend depends on your need. I'd get both.
