There is an Enterprise edition, but that might be overkill.
Pro might be fine.
Premier would be better if you are going to need sales orders and/or custom price levels.

You are very welcome!
My motto - keep it simple enough to use with just enough detail to report!!
Laura,
Is there an online timeclock that would link to our quickbooks, so the architects can put in their own time and job code daily and it will come into quickbooks against that specific project? I know there used to be , not sure if there still is.

I was CFO of an architectural firm. We ran with Pro fine.
But if you do a lot of directly billed time and costs projects, then Premier has better tools that make this easier.
We had three locations, only the main location had QB. We used Timer installed in the other two locations. It is an app that installs on the computers and is used to enter tasks and then export the time entries and email to the QB user, who imports the data.

I am going to suggest that you look at the Enterprise Version.
If you are running 150 projects, it is very possible that you are going to exceed the limitations of Pro and Premier.

Can you tell me what features will enterprise offer over and above Premier? What is the same as Premier? I looked at the online info -- slide show, etc. -- which, to me, looked a lot like the Pro/Premier capabilities; so, a short answer from someone experienced with using and exploiting both/all Quickbooks levels would be very helpful.
Also, if an architecture firm is using Premier, is the Contractor Premier version or the Professional Services best?
Archfin, Enterprise allows more multiple (simultaneous) users. It handles inventory better, too.
You would like Contractor's Premier Edition if you don't need the functional level of Enterprise.
Thanks! With that information we can explore the new versions capabilities, the adding project tracking functionality, etc. of Contractor Premier and, then, move to Enterprise to add more access once we have all the "wrinkles ironed out"
I appreciate your input.
