Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! During this time, you can shop, but can’t place orders online, activate products or update account info. We apologize for the inconvenience & thank you for patience while we improve our infrastructure to better serve you. International versions are unaffected. For more info, see our community discussion.

Balance Sheet not balanced

US QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions : 12.0: Manufacturing and Wholesale

Is there any way to create a one sided transaction when the Balance Sheet doesn't balance. I've tracked the error back to pre Oct 09 and it is only $.32. One transation of .30 and another for .02. There are no separate transactions for these amts.   I've fixed other issues with combining accounts and merging etc.  The discrepancies are not showing up in any register by balance sheet comparison.  I'd just like to do a one sided transaction to increase assets by .32.

NO, You should go to: File/Utilities/Verify Data. If it finds an error (which it may do in your case), you can rebuild your data and QuickBooks will create a one sided entry and will usually put it in uncategorized expense. You will have to backup your data before you can rebuild it.
