au triggers resulting in massive refund delays for feb 2010?
what are the audit triggers this filing season, February 8 2010 that's delaying so many client refunds?

I have not had any of my clients indicate that they are not receiving their refunds in a timely fashion. Is it possible the IRS has some issues with returns you have filed? Have they indicated that you may be under investigation? I am not trying to be smart here just trying to help.

I have only had one that was delayed and I'm sure it was because of the size of the refund (over 8000). If your clients have large refunds that might be the issue. Other than that one I have not experienced any delays.

No delays here either. I've filed quite a few with very large refunds and they received earlier than expected. Are these new clients that you're having the delays with?
