I have quickbooks and I am trying to get my AR balanced. I am finding people that do not have a balance still showing up in my aging AR. The invoices that I am finding there have been paid. How do I correct this.

In order to provide you with the solution I need to know how the invoice payments were recorded in QuickBooks.

The payments were posted as checks to the according invoices. I put the amount by check and the check number.



Have you set A/R account in the Expenses tab on those checks?
