I have a client asking me to look into a product called Courier that "links" to QBooks. He gave me a web site (deepthoughtsoftware.com) to access info re: Courier... but I'm not able to access that website.Anybody have idea/info re: how I can get a look at what Courier does and how it relates to QB?
I got the same request. I was able to access the website, but the info was pretty limited.
I also Googled both the Courier Software name and the deepthoughtsoftware name, and got nothing....
I suppose this software could be "brand-spanking-new" but it seems really odd that there's absolutely no info out there at all!
I ended up advising the potential client that I would hesitate to use this software without more info, including independent user ratings.
Odd how these things pop up - I had a customer asking about this same product just today. I note that this product, which apparently just works with a limited number of shopping carts, posts information to QuickBooks. I haven't seen them listed in the QuickBooks Solutions Marketplace, so they haven't applied for certification from Intuit (or, they haven't yet passed the test, which can take a bit of time). Although this certification is no guarantee that the software is any good, and smaller vendors find the certification a pain in the rear (it is expensive for low volume products), it is one indication that you might want to find another product. There are a bunch around that do what this supposedly does...
