Where can you get training on QBP for a new advisor just starting business? The Intuit Academy seems to be for more experienced QBP Advisors. For example, industry specific info like how to set up a contractor, common transactions used, etc.
There are training videos under Help>Learning Center Tutorials to help with common transactions, etc. There are training materials in the ProAdvisor website as well (look on the right side under Train your clients.
If you want to know more about contractors, you can take a look at Rock Castle sample data file to see how it is set up. Accounting for construction & contractors can get more complex and there are some books (Using QuickBooks for Contractors) which would be helpful as well.
