We sent 1099's out two weeks ago but 2 vendors were missed. Do I need to send copies of ALL the 1099's printed with our amended 1096 or just the ones we missed. If we have to send all of them can they be photo copies or do they need to be originals

Thanks for your post, as Volunteers to this forum we care about your issues and gladly offer our time to attempt to solve them.
I've looked at pages 6 & 7, but do not see where this has been specifically addressed.
Should the second submission include the 1099s that were correctly submitted with the original 1096? Should the added recipient's 1099 be marked "corrected"?
I would think these types of omissions would be so common that the pub could be clearer and more specific as to how to handle the situation. At any rate, we are not in charge of that...
