Adding "Ask My Accountant" to chart of accounts

How do I add "Ask MY Accountant""to my chart of accounts?  I am trying to balance to the former accountants balance sheet and P&L.  I thought I would open  this account so that I could use it in the Journal and maybe everything would balance out in the end.

You could use the opening balance equity account to do the same thing.  It's an account already in Quickbooks automatically.  If you want to use an Ask My Accountant account just create a new account of an equity type with that name on it and use it in the JE's you are making to see if everything clears out.  To create a new account go to Lists and Chart of Accounts and click on the account tab at the bottom left of that window and click on new.  Choose Equity type and type in the name you want to use and save and close.
