Account name shown on reports (Acutal vs Budget)
When entering the budget I assign a number to the account however when running my budget vs actual report it comes up as "the name of the account-other. instead of just the name. How can i fix this?

You might try temporarily turning off the preference for using Account numbers, running your report, then turning thee preference back on again. The preference can be found under Edit=>Preferences=>Accounting=>Company preferences tab
