Account doesn't show up in "Set Up Account for Online Services"

Thank you for using QuickBooks.

When you setup the Online Banking feature the very last screen in the setup has a Bill Pay option.   If you didn't click that little check box you can still setup the account to use Bill Pay by editing the account in the Chart of Accounts (COA). 

To do this you need to:

1. Open the COA (press the CTRL and A keys) or click the Lists menu and select Chart of Accounts
2. Select your account by clicking on it
3. Either right click and select Edit Account or click the Account button and select edit Account.
4. Click on the Online Services tab (in upper left corner of the screen just below the Account Type dropdown)
5. On this tab you will see a checkbox for Online Bill Payments - If it is active click the checkbox.
6. If it is not active then your Bank/Financial Institution does not support Online Bill Payment from inside QuickBooks.
