About once a week my entire PC crashes during Intuit Data Protect.
The Windows Process is reported as having crashed and the only thing I can do is a hard boot via the power button. It ALWAYS happens in the middle of an IDP backup as evidenced by the fact that upon reboot I invariably get a dialog telling me the IDP backup process was interrupted. I have a choice to resume or exit. If I resume, the PC crashes again before the backup completes, so I've learned to never resume the process.
How do I troubleshoot this? It seems as though it may be becoming moire frequent. I'm running Windows 7-64 bit.
UPDATE - now it seems like this is happening about twice a week. Need help for this.
