Do you mean the Exempt Organization Schedule D "Supplemental Financial Statements" parts VI, VII, or VIII? Those will fill out if the corresponding line on Form 990, page 11, Part X is completed.
For example, to have an item listed in Schedule D, page 3, Part VII, then line 12 of the Form 990, Part X must have an amount calculating. To get an amount on Form 990, Part X, line 12, enter an activity in the Statements and Reconciliations screen 51.2 "Balance Sheet - Investments." The critical field in this screen is "Investment type (Ctrl+T)." If number 7 is selected from the provided list, the amounts entered in the "Beginning of year amount" and "End of year amount" fields will print on the Form 990, Part X, line 12.
If you choose number 11 in the "Investment type (Ctrl+T)" field, it will print the amounts on Form 990, Part X, line 13, and consequently will have an item appear on the Schedule D, Part VIII.
To have an amount appear on the Schedule D, Part VI, you would need to have an asset entered in Depreciation screen 39. It will appear on Form 990, Part X, line 10 and consequently appear on Schedule D, Part VI.
