Form 941 Lines 5a 5d don't match. IRS wants me to make them match. But I don't know why they are different. Wage Garnishment was the only new item in last quarters payroll. Can you help? If I just make them match like the IRS help told me to, then my schedule B is wrong, and I know I'll have the same problem next quarter.
Payroll, when setup incorrectly often needs to be looked at by a qualifed Advanced Certified ProAdvisor.
However, you can do some things on your own. From the Payroll menu, select, My Payroll Service and choose the Run Payroll Checkup. This tool will review your setup as well as check your existing payroll data for accuracy.
