1st time homebuyer credit of $8000
I did a 1040X for 2008 to claim the new home buyer credit and it's only giving me $7500 instead of $8000. The house was purchased 3/6/09 for $133,000.

Check the box that says ARRA: Use increased credit amount.
If you don't have that box, Tools, Lacerte Updates.
