1099 Employees
I do books for a Law Firm which wants to pay their contract attorneys (1099) through their payroll. How is this be accomplished?

There is no such thing as a "1099 Employee".
There are Independent Contractors and there are Employees.
If you have Independent Contractors (1099) and your firm uses their services, they should be paid as Vendors. They should not be paid through payroll.
