1099 Contractor expense not correct on transfer to Turbo Tax business
Where do I list subcontractors pay?
I had them categorized as vendors under cost of goods sold. I run a newspaper distribution business and had them listed that way. When I transferred my data to Turbotax it categorized them under inventory items, and told me I did not have to report it since it was under 1/2 million. I am issuing 1099-misc for all of them. Since I am a sole proprietor LLC, it is having me file a schedule C on a 1040
