No clue on Oregon. Was some form of 1099 issued? That is usually real insightful.

This is not a 1099. It is an IRS form 1098-MA which is ussued for mortgage assistance.

I don't believe that there is any income associated with this mortgage interest deduction.
From the 1040 instructions:
FORM: 1098-MA
Item & Box in Which It Should Appear: Homeowner mortgage payments (box 3)
Where to Report: Schedule A, line 10, but first see the instructions on Form 1098-MA

its seem to be memo only when applying the safe habor approach.....how many more useless 1099 are we going to receive.they can't even get the tax forms on time as it is?
