I am brand new to the Mac and going crazy. I have QB Mac 2009. Replacing QB 2007 for PC. I used the timer everyday, however the time clock does not appear in my Mac 09. Does the QB for the MAC 2009 have a timeclock or capacity to load one? It is crucial in my business.
Darn, I thought I answered this!
QB 2009 for Mac does not have a timekeeping mechanism. I suspect that has something to do with its not having multiple-user functionality either.
My little creative-services firm uses a Web-based service (TimeFox from FunctionFox) to keep time and then enters the time-category data (from reports) into QB. It would be great to have everything inside QuickBooks OR to have QB interface with TimeFox reports.
Please use QB's Feedback function to request this feature and others you want in QB for Mac. The more a feature is wanted by users, the more likely Intuit is to consider adding it.

Hi Debi,
I believe you may have answered the question previously but left out the great information regarding Time Fox. If that isn't too costly I may go that way.
I am becoming very nervous regarding QB for the Mac. I checked out, very thoroughly I thought, exactly the features that the Mac version of QB did not offer. I am now finding there are a lot more features they don't mention. QB and Excel availability for the Mac was our decision making factors on whether my client and I purchase a Mac. After speaking with QB sales and tech, I was assured that the Mac version could offer almost everything the PC version does. I wonder what other little surprises are waiting for me.
You can be sure I will be using the feedback option - as soon as I find it. Oh, there it is on the very bottom of the web page.
Thank you for your help - much appreciated.
