I would like to offer customers the opportunity to do their own taxes online, similar to what taxactline and turbo tax offer. Can someone recommend an approve software. Any comments/suggestions on how to do this? Is there anyone who currently doing this with their website? Please let me know. Thanks

For individual taxes returns, I've used eSmarttax.com for my own income taxes. It's easy and allows you to save your work and continue at a future date. The federal tax form is free, if people go to it from the IRS.gov site first. That site also has other approved vendors on it. After you fill out the Federal forms, you can easily fill out the state forms for a very small fee with data taken directly from the Federal forms.
