I do not get the full General Journal entry number when it prints. My entry is GJ10-15, but when it prints, I get GJ10-...., not the full number. QB is automatically assigning a number for each entry - why won't it print the full number?
When you see the report on your screen, you can notice small diamond-shaped signs between the columns. You can "grab" these diamonds and widen the column. I would suggest to click on Preview before you print the report to make sure you see what you wanted.

This is great if you want to go another step. Isn't it possible for Intuit to change the formatting to open up areas and narrow others? There is quite a bit of margin space that is wasted and the room could be used by the programmers to make the journal entry number greater than the number of digits currently used. I do not want to have to follow your suggestion every time I print out a journal entry.
Right click your General Journal, select Transaction Journal. On this new window you can adjust the NUM column and that's it. Delete any column that you don't need or to match any printed General Journal columns you already have.
Yeah, I always hated that I wasn't able to change column sizes on the AJE's so that I could see the entire entry. I do as few as possible now so that I don't run into this problem. I'd love to know if anyone ever found a work-around... if not, I think this is something we should suggest Intuit correct for us. We just need to write it up in such a way that they will find it a good idea.
