DMS file doesn't show up when I open it

I'm having trouble viewing a file in Lacerte DMS. I double click on a file and it shows that it is open on the windows tool bar at the bottom of the screen, but the open file is no where to be found on my screen. Any advice?

I would be willing to bet at some point you were working in a dual monitor environment..Click the taskbar item, them press Alt+spacebar, them "M". Hold down the left arrow key until you see your screen moving from cyberville onto the primary monitor....

Pressing any cursor key once snaps the pointer to the bar and then you can use the mouse to position it as you like. No need to hold it down, wait, and hope you are moving in the correct direction.

Thank you..finally an answer! I have worked for hours on this. My monitors got switched in an office move - the scan screen was, as you said, in "cyberville"! It is now home safely in front of me.
