Dual monitors - remote access
Total Views: 1,846
I installed a dual monitor at home with the intention of working in a dual monitor mode from there when I remotely access my office computer, which also has dual monitors. I found that QuickBooks webex and PCNow webex do not support dual monitors at that level. PCNow will let me switch between my office dual monitors but only from one of my screens at home. Does anyone know of a remote access software/system that works with the dual monitor concept?
Hmm, that's a scenario I haven't tried. However, it MAY be possible with LogMeIn. Best of all, they have a FREE version to test this out. Also, go to LogMeIn forums to post your question - they have great forums for their products.
Post back if it works!

LMI can do it, but remember you will be trying to pass twice as much information at the same time. Higher upstream bandwidth will be very important at the office and you may want to lower the resolution of the office computer to make things easier on yourself.
Thanks BGlass for the direction - can you provide more info on LMI - I googled this and cannot figure out what the company or software is that you are referring to.
I am experiencing the same quest. I have been very unhappy since Webex changed the pricing structure and capabilities of our QB.Webex access. I am searching today and Go To my PC says it will let you use dual monitors wheither they are at the host or remote location. I haven't got to Log Me In yet to check that one out.
