Scanner Suggestions

Is anyone using a scanner they can truly rave about? We've been using the HP 8200 series but are beginning to have problems and HP has discontinued them. I've also seen some poor reviews of the 8300 series they replaced it with.Are there any love stories out there? Thanks

I'm using a Fujitsu 5120C. It works well for me. Pro Series has a special on this scanner and another model. You can get the pricing and specs on both models at:

I use a Fujitsu 5120C too. It works well but don't buy the Fujitsu support package. Their support is terrible. I have been on hold for over 30 minutes when calling them and then they said they couldn't help me anyway.

We have a Xerox workcentre in both our locations. Networks so can be used for printing and scanning from anywhere in the building (not like it's a big building, just 5 people). They are workhorses. We have HP All-In-Ones on several desks for those people that might need to scan just one or two pages at a time, but most of the scanning takes place on the Xerox. they stand there for about 15 - 20 minutes scanning them in. It has a hard drive to store them and assigns a number to the documents. Then, just open the mailbox viewer in the scan page in DMS, choose the document number and Import.

Hello cochran. Please if you could I would like to know more about your experience with the workcentre pro and DMS.

We currently have a workcentre pro 55 with network scanning and are planning on adding dms.

I would really appreciate if you could elaborate more on the process the user goes through to scan and import to dms. Also any other suggestions or thoughts would be much appreciated.

I have a number of questions that maybe we can resolve together.
